If you're unsure, start with our assessment or choose the middle option (Copy Editing) and we'll recommend adjustments if needed.

What file formats do you accept?

We accept all standard document formats including Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx), Rich Text Format (.rtf), and OpenDocument Text (.odt). For proofreading, we can also work with PDFs. We return edited documents with tracked changes visible, along with a clean copy and our editorial report. If you have special formatting requirements, please let us know in advance.

Will the editor change my writing style?

These estimates are for manuscripts up to 80,000 words. We offer expedited services for an additional fee if you're working with a tight deadline. During our initial consultation, we'll provide a precise timeline for your project.

Do you edit all genres and subjects?

Our editorial team includes specialists in fiction (all genres), non-fiction (including academic, business, memoir, and technical works), and everything in between. We carefully match your manuscript with an editor who has relevant experience in your subject area or genre. For highly specialized technical or scientific works, we may consult subject matter experts to ensure accuracy.
